Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical systems as well as assisting in setting up production heating equipment for each job.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
Maintaining Mechanical Systems:
You will need to perform regular maintenance on all existing systems and equipment.
Diagnosing the Root Cause of Mechanical Malfunctions:
When mechanical malfunctions occur, you need to be able to work out what caused them.
Analyzing and Documenting Test Results:
You will need to regularly test systems and analyze the test results. Look for irregularities and keep a careful log of any that you find.
Ensure work orders are properly put into SAP.
Ensure maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
Modify mechanical and hydraulic/pneumatic schematics as needed to reflect revisions, create schematics if none are available.
Assist other Mechanical and Electrical Technicians as needed to troubleshoot and maintain equipment.
Help in maintaining parts inventory.
Follow all safety and process procedures.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of Mechanical systems, Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems, and compressed air systems.
- Ability to weld as needed to make repairs and complete projects.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office or similar software.
- Ability to use test equipment Vibration analysis, thermal imaging, and various other tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous maintenance experience. Preferred
- Degree or certificate in related Maintenance field, Preferred
