Supervisor – Horizontal Continuous Casting (Aluminum)

Role Summary
The HCC Supervisor will oversee aluminum horizontal continuous casting operations, including casting, peeling, ultrasonic testing (UT), cutting, and packing. This is a hands-on shop-floor leadership role focused on safety, quality, yield, and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily horizontal continuous casting operations
- Control metal temperature, casting speed, cooling, and tooling
- Oversee downstream processes: peeling, UT, cutting, and packing
- Ensure heat/lot traceability and compliance with quality standards
- Review UT results and manage nonconforming material
- Enforce safety and support troubleshooting on the shop floor
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering
- Train and develop operators; support continuous improvement
Must-Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Hands-on shop-floor supervisory experience
- Aluminum casting experience (HCC preferred)
- Strong troubleshooting and leadership skills
- Understanding of traceability and quality systems
- Ability to work off-shifts/weekends
- US Citizen / Authorized to work in the USA
Nice to Have
- Automotive aluminum (Tier 1 / Tier 2) experience
- Scrap reduction, yield improvement, RCA experience
- Exposure to customer audits or new equipment startups

Pay: $55,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
