Role Overview
The Account Manager is the primary point of contact and customer advocate for active client accounts. This role partners closely with Account Executives and Creative teams to onboard clients, manage campaigns, handle billing and reporting, and ensure a strong customer experience. The Account Manager also supports renewals, identifies upsell opportunities, and serves as an escalation point to resolve issues efficiently.
Success in this role requires strong organization, relationship-building skills, product knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all clients transferred from the Account Executive team after close
- Serve as the main client contact, managing expectations and resolving issues
- Understand our services, pricing, and contracts to support clients and internal teams
- Coordinate with Creative teams to ensure timely and successful campaign execution
- Lead project management of content planning calls between clients and Creative teams
- Gather client information to submit orders, invoices, and performance reports
- Share and review monthly performance results with clients
- Support renewals by coordinating with Account Executives and preparing renewal updates
- Identify opportunities to upsell or expand services within existing accounts
- Follow internal escalation processes to ensure timely resolution and client retention
Qualifications
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and handles pressure well
- Self-motivated, customer-focused, and team-oriented
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Proficient with common software tools (Excel, Outlook, Canva, QuickBooks)
- Familiarity with Monday.com or similar CRM tools preferred
- Experience building professional relationships, including with senior-level stakeholders
- Reliable in-office attendance required
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2 years of experience in media, marketing, or client communications preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Guaranteed base salary
- Annual performance bonuses

Work Environment
- Hybrid role with a minimum of 3 days per week in-office
- Availability required for client meetings, shoots, and in-person meetings in the Greater Birmingham area
