Job Summary
The Help Desk Support II / Security Advisor provides first-level technical support to end users, ensuring timely resolution of IT issues related to hardware, software, and communication systems. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, clear documentation, and the ability to work independently during overnight and weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level IT support via phone, email, and chat
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and voice/data communication issues
- Escalate issues to higher-level support teams when appropriate
- Create clear, concise, and accurate service desk tickets
- Follow up on all tickets and ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Maintain professional and effective communication with end users
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years
of relevant IT support experience - Hands-on experience with ticketing systems and technical documentation
- Broad knowledge of:
- Windows and other popular operating systems
- Azure, Intune, and Microsoft 365 (O365)
- Application software
- Desktop and laptop hardware
- Printers and network troubleshooting
