What are the responsibilities and job description for the 3rd Shift Warehouse Forklift Operator position at BGR INC?
The 3rd shift Warehouse Forklift Operator is primarily responsible for loading delivery trucks and replenishing of primary picking locations in manner that meets company standards for safety, security, and productivity. The 3rd shift Warehouse Forklift Operator is responsible for the completeness and correctness of all loads and replenishments.
We are looking for an energetic 3rd shift Warehouse Forklift Operator to ensure the accurately and safely load shipments. You will operate warehouse equipment (forklift, tow motor, etc.) to build and send appropriate shipments to customers.
The selected individual must be able to work long hours on their feet. Must be detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
Responsibilities
- Confirm shipment accuracy and load trucks according to route & sequence
- Ensure all shipments are properly wrapped and secured to trailer to protect the inventory
- Locate products & deliveries using a RF Scanner
- Retrieve orders according to quantity, size etc. ensuring accuracy
- Pick orders, build pallets, and position them to loading docks as needed
- Replenish inventory accurately according to min/max levels and properly store
- Keep records of completed loads and replenishments
- Maintain equipment and report on malfunctions
- Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as truck loader, replenishment, or other warehouse position
- Experience or license in handling forklifts, tow motors, pallets jacks and other warehouse equipment
- Experience with RF devices
- Able to read and write in English
- Great attention to detail
- Self-starter and motivated
