The Regional Service Manager leads a team of commercial HVAC service technicians across a designated regional footprint. This role is responsible for driving operational performance, ensuring service excellence, and maintaining strong client relationships while leading a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of technicians to drive engagement and performance.
- Manage hiring, evaluations, and compensation planning.
- Provide ongoing feedback, training, and performance support.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Oversee dispatch and service scheduling to meet service-level expectations.
- Manage preventative maintenance programs and service delivery.
- Review service work and invoices for accuracy and efficiency
- Monitor budgets and optimize resource allocation.
- Analyze workflow and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner cross-functionally to resolve issues and enhance service delivery.
- Manage inventory to support operational needs.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years of leadership experience in commercial HVAC or field service operations
- Proven experience managing teams of technicians.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and service operations
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build strong client and internal relationships.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and field service systems
- Self-directed with strong organizational skills
- Technical certifications or specialized training in HVAC or related field
- Travel Requirement: Up to 25% within assigned region
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to travel to job sites, client locations, and team meetings.
