BGIS has different pay ranges for different work locations within the United States which allows us to pay team members competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location.
The salary range for this non-exempt position in the US is $23.00-30.00 per hour.
A candidate’s salary offer is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, education, certifications, licenses, and location.

- Competitive Hourly Rate: $23–$30 per hour ($47,840–$62,400 annual base salary)
- Paid Time Off: 48 hours (increases to 168 hours with tenure)

Your Role as an HVAC Residential Installer
As an HVAC Residential Installer, you will play a critical role in installing high-quality HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include:
- Install flex duct systems in accordance with the Florida Mechanical Code.
- Installing, wiring, and starting up residential and commercial split systems and packaged units, including system changeouts.
- Performing installations with precision and attention to detail to meet company and industry standards.
- Maintaining a professional company image and delivering excellent customer service.
- Adhering to all safety policies, procedures, and company standards.
- Working independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Maintaining the company service vehicle, tools, and inventory stock while adhering to company driving policies.
- Fully stocked company service van
- Company-issued cellphone and tablet
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided
Required:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC installation
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass background and drug screening checks
- EPA Certification
- Ability to climb and descend ladders while carrying up to 30 lbs.
- Lift up to 75 lbs. and maneuver in confined spaces (e.g., crawlspaces, attics)
- Willingness to wear required PPE
- Proficiency in installing, wiring, and starting up residential and commercial HVAC systems
- Strong understanding of residential HVAC units and duct systems
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Dependability, punctuality, and ability to work collaboratively as a team player
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ownership of personal tools required for HVAC installation
