Security Officer

We are seeking vigilant, self-motivated Security Guards to join our growing team at BGI Security. Led by seasoned law enforcement and military veterans with over 100 years of combined field experience, we provide top-tier security services for private and government clients across Phoenix and throughout the U.S.

In this role, you will protect indoor and outdoor properties, perform area patrols, manage visitor access, and ensure a safe, secure environment for our residential, HOA, and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Surveillance & Monitoring: Monitor security cameras and surveillance systems to identify suspicious activity and ensure continuous site safety.

• Property Patrols: Conduct regular foot or mobile patrols of residential communities, HOAs, construction sites, and commercial facilities to deter unauthorized access.

• Access Control: Control access points by verifying the identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors, and issuing visitor badges.

• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to crises, executing established procedures for medical emergencies, security breaches, or active threat protocols.

• Incident Documentation: Write detailed, accurate incident reports documenting security breaches, safety violations, or unusual activities.

• Life Safety Support: Utilize first aid, CPR, and AED equipment to assist injured individuals when necessary.

• Community Engagement: Interact professionally with the public, residents, and clients, balancing firm enforcement with exceptional customer service.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience: Proven experience in physical security roles, military service, or law enforcement.

• Drive & Integrity: Highly self-motivated, alert, and accountable, with the ability to work independently while maintaining strong situational awareness and professional integrity.

• Certifications: Valid guard card/license along with current certifications in First Aid, CPR, and AED operation.

• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective incident reporting and client interactions.

• Composure: Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure during conflicts, high-traffic periods, or emergency situations.

• 0400 – 1600 (4am – 4pm) Sunday – Tuesday with Alternating Wednesdays (Alternating Wednesdays with Thursday – Saturday Off)

• 0400 – 1600 (4am – 4pm) Sunday – Tuesday with Alternating Wednesdays (Alternating Wednesdays with Thursday – Saturday Off)

• 0400 – 1600 (4am – 4pm) Alternating Wednesdays with Thursday – Saturday (Sunday – Tuesday with Alternating Wednesdays Off)

• 1600 – 0400 (4pm – 4am) Alternating Wednesdays with Thursday – Saturday (Sunday – Tuesday with Alternating Wednesdays Off)
