PRIMARY FUNCTION: |
Repairs mechanical malfunctions on flagged looms, starts up new creels and performs scheduled preventive maintenance work. |
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: | ||

| Responsible for general housekeeping in the assigned area |

| Observe all plant and company safety rules. |

| Perform other duties as assigned by Plant Manager, Supervisor or Process Engineer. |

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS: |
High School diploma as defined by company policy or GED. Must have been previously qualified as a weaver. Must successfully complete requirements for industrial truck license. Must have taken and scored at least in the 50 percentile on the Bennett's Mechanical Comprehension Test. |
ENVIRONMENTAL/SAFETY RISK REQUIREMENTS: |
Frequent contact with carbon, fly, binder, size, oil, safety solvent, greases, oils, etc. May be required to wear eye protection, gloves, protective clothing in performance of certain tasks. Annual audiogram or as required by Company policy. Hearing protection as required in posted areas in the plant. Must follow all safety rules including but not limited to lockout/tagout, wearing personal protective equipment, etc. |
