Duties
- Operate and monitor machinery for plastics injection molding and blow molding processes.
- Set up machines according to specifications, ensuring proper alignment and calibration.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers to verify product dimensions and quality.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Handle materials appropriately, ensuring safe and efficient movement within the warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot equipment issues and resolve production challenges.
- Maintain accurate records of production outputs, machine settings, and maintenance activities.
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in machine operation within a manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with plastics injection molding and blow molding processes is highly desirable.
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers.
- Basic math skills for calculating measurements and production metrics.
- Knowledge of logic controllers for machine programming is an advantage.
