Appliance Tech

Summary:
Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Appliance Repair Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining appliances within the distribution center. This role ensures all equipment is functioning properly to support operational efficiency and product readiness.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7AM-330PM

Essential Functions:

• Diagnose and repair appliances including but not limited to washers, dryers, refrigerators, and other equipment
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure proper functionality
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools
• Document repairs, maintenance activities, and parts usage accurately
• Ensure all repairs are completed in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe and working condition
• Assist with testing and quality checks of repaired appliances
• Communicate effectively with leadership regarding repair status and parts needs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow attendance policy, reporting to work on time and prepared for assigned shifts
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support departmental and company objectives.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of appliance repair or related mechanical experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Education & Certifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Technical certification in appliance repair or related field preferred
