BG Staffing is seeking a dependable and hardworking Make Ready Technician to support a busy apartment community in Leavenworth, KS 66048. Join a fast-paced team where you'll prepare apartment homes for new residents and assist with general maintenance needs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in delivering quality-ready apartments.

• Role: Make Ready Technician
• Location: Leavenworth, KS 66048
• Pay: $20.00/hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
• Opportunity Type: Contract-to-Hire

• Complete unit turns and make-ready tasks to prepare apartments for new residents
• Perform basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and drywall repairs
• Install and replace fixtures, hardware, and other basic components
• Troubleshoot and perform minor appliance repairs
• Paint, patch, and complete touch-up work as needed
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
• Communicate progress and completed work with onsite management
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards

• Previous experience as a Make Ready Technician or Apartment Maintenance Technician
• General maintenance knowledge including:
  • Basic electrical
  • Basic plumbing
  • Carpentry and hardware installation
  • Appliance troubleshooting
• Must have your own basic maintenance tools
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools
• Ability to lift, bend, climb, and perform physical labor throughout the workday
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently
