BG Staffing is seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician for a well-established apartment community in Overland Park, KS 66212. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled maintenance professional with leadership experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining high community standards while delivering exceptional resident service.

• Location: Overland Park, KS 66212
• Pay Rate: $27-$29 per hour
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (1-Hour Lunch)
• Opportunity Type: Contract or Contract-to-Hire
• Start Date: Immediate Opening

• Lead and oversee daily maintenance operations for the community
• Assign, prioritize, and monitor service requests, preventative maintenance, and ongoing projects
• Supervise and support onsite maintenance staff to ensure efficient workflow
• Troubleshoot and perform repairs involving:
  • HVAC systems
  • Electrical systems
  • Plumbing systems
  • Appliances
  • Carpentry and general maintenance
• Oversee apartment turns and make-ready projects to ensure timely completion and quality standards
• Maintain community grounds, common areas, amenities, and building systems
• Respond to resident maintenance requests in a professional and customer-focused manner
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company standards
• Coordinate daily maintenance priorities and support overall property operations

• Previous Apartment Maintenance Leadership Experience Required
• Experience Supervising or Directing Maintenance Staff Required
• EPA Type II or Universal Certification Required
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and carpentry
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently
• Experience managing work orders, preventative maintenance, and unit turns
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
