Apartment Maintenance Turn Technician

Position: Make-Ready Technician

Location: Virginia Beach, VA 23452

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• 1-Hour Lunch Break
• Full-Time Hours
• No Weekends Required

The Make-Ready Technician plays a critical role in ensuring vacant apartment homes are properly prepared for incoming residents. This position requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to complete a variety of maintenance and cosmetic tasks while maintaining high community standards.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working both independently and as part of a maintenance team.

• Complete apartment make-ready assignments from start to finish
• Perform painting, touch-ups, and general repairs
• Replace fixtures, hardware, blinds, and other apartment components as needed
• Complete basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks
• Ensure all apartments meet move-in standards
• Inspect units for maintenance concerns and report findings
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas
• Assist with community maintenance projects as assigned
• Follow company safety procedures and property guidelines

• Previous apartment make-ready or maintenance experience preferred
• Knowledge of painting, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
• Ability to prioritize and complete projects on schedule
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
