Residential Property Manager
Location: St. Charles, IL
Position Type: Full-Time (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Residential Property Manager to oversee a large apartment community in the St. Charles area. The right candidate will be responsible for day-to-day operations, financial performance, resident relations, and leading a dedicated on-site team.

Responsibilities
Operations & Maintenance
- Oversee daily management of approximately 600 apartment units.
- Ensure the property is maintained to high standards and all maintenance requests are completed promptly.
- Uphold community policies and ensure compliance with housing regulations.
Financial Management
- Manage rent collection and reduce delinquency through proactive strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of payments and financial reports.
- Monitor budgets and support the financial health of the property.
Resident Experience
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing resident concerns quickly and professionally.
- Build positive relationships with residents to promote renewals and long-term satisfaction.
- Enforce lease agreements in a consistent and fair manner.
Team Leadership
- Supervise leasing, administrative, and maintenance staff.
- Coach and mentor team members to achieve performance goals.
- Create a supportive, collaborative, and high-accountability work environment.
Reporting & Compliance
- Ensure all practices align with fair housing laws and safety standards.
- Deliver timely, accurate reporting of property performance metrics.
Qualifications
Required
- 3 years of experience in residential property management, ideally with 300 units.
- Strong knowledge of leasing, operations, and compliance practices.
- Proven ability to drive rent collection and manage financial performance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred
- CAM certification or similar industry credential.
- Familiarity with Yardi, AppFolio, or comparable property management software.
- Experience managing lease-up properties.
