Position Summary

As a Counter Sales Representative, you will play a key role in supporting our customers by delivering prompt, knowledgeable service and maintaining a well-organized, fully stocked sales floor. You'll assist walk-in clients, answer phone inquiries, process orders, and provide product recommendations tailored to their needs

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with product selection, order entry, and pricing inquiries
• Answer phones professionally and handle customer questions or order requests
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Provide informed recommendations on a wide variety of mechanical, industrial, and hardware products
• Maintain clean and organized product displays and stocked shelves
• Receive returns and tag items appropriately
• Explain company policies and procedures to customers as needed
• Support merchandising efforts and continuously build product knowledge
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
• Perform additional duties as assigned

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic math skills for sales transactions, discounts, and refunds
• Working knowledge of mechanical and industrial tools, hardware parts, and supplies is a plus
• Problem-solving mindset and customer-first attitude
• Organized, dependable, and eager to learn
• Solid computer and typing skills
• Commitment to safety and professionalism at all times

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
