Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to support our software development teams in delivering high-quality products. The ideal candidate will gather and document requirements, translate business needs into clear technical specifications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes. Key ResponsibilitiesRequirements Gathering & AnalysisWork with stakeholders, product owners, and end users to identify business needs and translate them into functional and non-functional requirements. Conduct interviews, workshops, and research to validate requirements. Analyze existing systems and processes to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement. Documentation & CommunicationPrepare clear and comprehensive requirement documents, user stories, acceptance criteria, wireframes, and process flows. Maintain documentation throughout the product lifecycle. Communicate requirements effectively to developers, QA engineers, and leadership teams. Project Support & CollaborationCollaborate with software development teams to clarify requirements during implementation. Serve as a liaison between business units and technical teams as needed Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups as part of an Agile team. Conduct impact analysis for changes or new features. Support QA in test case creation and participate in UAT. Process ImprovementIdentify inefficiencies in workflows and recommend process enhancements. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to product development and delivery. Data Analysis Analyze data, metrics, and product usage trends to provide insights that inform product direction. Create reports and dashboards as needed. QualificationsRequiredBachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in a software development or technology environment. Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban). Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in requirement documentation tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps). PreferredExperience with creating process diagrams (e.g., BPMN, Visio, Lucidchart). Familiarity with API documentation or technical specifications. Experience working with UI/UX teams or familiarity with wireframing tools. Industry certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, Scrum certifications).
