General Description
A CAD Technician is responsible for providing drafting services in support of commercial, retail, municipal, and various other civil engineering projects.
Qualifications
- 2 year Associate Degree in Drafting Design
- 3 years CAD experience in a Civil Engineering production environment (AutoCAD Civil 3D 2017 or higher / AutoDesk Vault experience preferred)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 2021
- Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat DC
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task with respect to projects
- Adhere to BFA CAD Standards
- Ability to work overtime and travel as required
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work as a team player
- Field Tech experience (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Drafting for land development plans, zoning plans, concept plans, and construction documents
- Research and obtain standards/codes as required by clients and jurisdiction to accurately and efficiently develop above noted plans
- Accurately complete drawing/project responsibilities within scope, budget, and schedule
