Beztak is looking to hire a Director of Memory Care to join our team. The Director of Memory Care is responsible for the coordination of all resident care, activity programming and staffing of Memory Care services throughout the community.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develops and leads engaging activities that are appropriate for the level of care that allows residents the opportunity to exercise their mental, physical, and spiritual well-being of their lives.
- Coordinate special outside activities including scenic drives or field trips
- Assists the Director of Life Enrichment with calendar ideas and programming
- Prepare and follow a Budget
- Interface with physicians and other care providers if needed
- Supervision of staff including creating and coordinating staffing schedules
- Working in a high-pressure environment, interacting with difficult customers/vendors, handling urgent matters, resolving conflicts, having effective interpersonal skills
- Operating a company vehicle or personal vehicle (as required) to perform job duties. Candidates must be willing and able to drive for work-related purposes as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:
- Minimum two years’ experience in specialized dementia care programs
- CPR Certified
BACKGROUND CHECK PROCESS:
Beztak and All Seasons complete pre-employment testing in accordance with company policies and all state-requirements. This includes criminal background checks, fingerprinting (where applicable) and drug testing.

Arizona applicants will need to obtain a fingerprint clearance card, TB test and clear the Adult Protective Services registry.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The position is required to frequently sit for long periods of time, walk, stand, climb stairs and communicate with residents, staff, family members and the public. Occasionally climbing stairs, bending and lifting up to 50 pounds
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- This position typically operates indoors in an air-conditioned office, with a mixture of natural, incandescent and fluorescent light.
- You may be exposed to varying weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain, and snow is common. May occasionally be exposed to extreme conditions, including high heat, humidity, freezing temperatures, and heavy rain while performing outdoor tasks.
- You will also periodically be confined to a vehicle.
