Job Title: Live Experience Actor
Location: Provo, UT
Schedule: Friday – Sunday, afternoons
About the Role
Beyond the City creates immersive, story-driven experiences where players step into a living narrative. As a Live Experience Actor, you'll be at the heart of it — bringing characters to life, guiding the atmosphere, and keeping the story alive as players move through each loop or scene.
This is a physical, on-your-feet role. You'll be standing and performing for the duration of your shift, interacting with players in real time and adapting to how each group engages with the experience.
What You'll Do
- Portray assigned characters consistently across multiple live sessions
- Interact with players in-character to enhance immersion and guide the experience
- Stay in character and adapt naturally to unexpected player reactions
- Collaborate with the team before each shift to align on story beats and cues
- Maintain energy and presence throughout back-to-back sessions
What We're Looking For
- Comfort with live, unscripted interaction — improv experience is a big plus
- Ability to stay on your feet and perform for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Experience in theater, improv, or live entertainment preferred but not required
- Genuine enthusiasm for storytelling and creating memorable moments for people
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay: $15/hr
- Performance raises: Up to $20/hr based on performance
- Bonus system: Additional bonuses available
- Paid lunch: 30-minute paid lunch break included
