Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Technician to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting our physical therapists in providing exceptional patient care. Responsibilities:
-Full-time position (Mondays 9:00 am to 6:00 pm & Fridays 7:00 am to 4:00 pm)
- Assist physical therapists in providing patient care and treatment
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions
- Escort patients to and from therapy sessions
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, and maintaining patient records
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the therapy area
- Changing and washing linens, pillowcases, and towels
- Organize order list and supplies
- Assisting patients with light exercises during physical therapy sessions
- Applying laser treatment with direction from the physical therapist
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professional
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- Compassion and empathy when helping patients
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is required
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide excellent patient service
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
