Beyond Limits Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Benefits Coordinator who is motivated, energetic, and detail-oriented to join our central office team in Bluffdale, UT.
We're a therapist-owned outpatient clinic known for a positive, supportive environment where both patients and staff are treated like family. As a Patient Benefits Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in helping patients understand their insurance benefits and ensuring a smooth experience from first visit to final treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify insurance benefits and eligibility before patient appointments
- Accurately calculate and communicate patient financial responsibility (copays, deductibles, out-of-pocket expenses)
- Obtain insurance authorizations and referrals when required
- Coordinate with physical therapists, front office, and billing teams to ensure timely care
- Answer patient questions related to insurance and benefits in a clear and friendly way
- Support front office operations, including scheduling and patient communication as needed
- Maintain organized, accurate documentation of benefit verifications and authorizations
Who You Are:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Prior experience in insurance verification or healthcare administration preferred
- Familiarity with outpatient rehab or physical therapy a plus
- Team player with a positive, professional attitude
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
Position Type:
- Full-time or Part-time
- In-person only (not remote)
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday (no weekends)
- Office hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible shifts)
- All work is completed on-site — no after-hours or remote work required
