What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hardscape Technician position at Beyond Landscaping LLC?
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Hardscape Technician to join our crew. You will be responsible for the installation of a variety of hardscape projects including patios, retaining walls, walkways, and outdoor living spaces. This is a hands-on field position working on residential and/or commercial properties across Sheboygan County.
Responsibilities:
Install pavers, flagstone, and retaining wall block.
-Excavate and grade project areas to proper depth and slope.
-Prepare and compact base materials
-Read and follow project plans and layouts
-Operate hand tools and power equipment (plate compactor, skid steer, laser level)
-Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
-Communicate professionally with customers and crew members
-Load/unload materials and maintain equipment
Qualifications:
-1-3 years of hardscape, masonry, or landscape experience
-Knowledge of paver and retaining wall installation techniques
-Ability to read basic project layouts
-Valid driver's license
-Ability to life 50 lbs. or more repeatedly and work outdoors in all conditions
-Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic
Probationary pay is $22-$30 /hr but is based on experience and knowledge and may exceed this amount.
