We at Beyond Horizons Tour & Travel (BHTT) are excited to announce an opening for a dedicated Bus Detailer at our Mt. Pleasant, MI location. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team that prides itself on maintaining a fleet of some of the finest and most well-kept motorcoaches on the road. Our cleaning staff plays a pivotal role in ensuring our vehicles are pristine and ready for a variety of trips, from athletic team travels to adventure tours and chartered events.
Position Overview:
As a Bus Detailer at BHTT, you will be instrumental in preparing our motorcoaches for their next journey, ensuring the comfort and convenience of our passengers. This full-time position requires a candidate who is self-motivated, capable of working both independently and as part of a team, and able to execute tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time position, 5-6 days per week.
- Hours: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM, including weekend shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize power sprayers and wash equipment to clean the exterior of vehicles.
- Conduct thorough interior cleaning, including overhead luggage bins, seats, kick panels, footrests, and lavatory areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of all windows, window frames, and the driver compartment.
- Sweep and mop vehicle floors.
- Service and clean the lavatory.
- Ensure the final touches are complete, such as emptying wastebaskets, managing lost and found items, and refreshing the interior atmosphere.
- Perform end-of-shift procedures and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
- Proficient in using power wash/guided wash machines and comfortable with repetitive motions.
- Ability to lift 25-40 lbs.
- Mechanical knowledge is advantageous.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Comfortable working with various cleaning agents and chemicals.
- Must be able to work in varying conditions, including a wet environment, and in both hot and cold temperatures.
