Geotechnical Project Manager (Carrollton, TX)
Beyond Engineering and Testing, LLC (Beyond) is an accredited and licensed Texas and New Mexico engineering firm that provides geotechnical and construction material engineering services, with offices located in Texas (Round Rock, Carrollton and Midland), and in New Mexico (Carlsbad).
Beyond has experienced significant growth and success in commercial, municipal and transportation projects, as well as supporting oil/gas and renewable energy industries. Beyond is currently seeking a full-time Geotechnical Project Manager to join our team in Carrollton, Texas office.
Education/Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or Pavement Engineering preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ geotechnical or pavement engineering related experience preferred.
- Geotechnical experience in municipal and transportation projects in Texas preferred.
- Texas Professional Engineer (PE) registration or ability to obtain a PE license within 6 months of employment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Complete understanding of field and laboratory testing.
- Familiarity with local construction standards and requirements.
- Ability to lead and be part of a project team.
- Project management and marketing skills are desired.
- 20% of travel to project sites and Beyond offices.
- Entrepreneurial and motivated individual who understands the value in working toward success by delivering the highest quality of services to our clients.
