Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant located in Phoenix, AZ. The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant will play an integral role in delivering high-quality therapy to clients, supporting individuals in achieving their goals with therapeutic interventions, and assisting in the development of home programs. Daily tasks include providing patient care, and collaborating with therapists and families to ensure the best outcomes. The position requires working closely with clients in home and community environments to promote functional independence and well-being.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Occupational Therapy practices and principles
- Experience in Rehabilitation and Program Development
- Strong skills in Patient Care and Home Care services
- Ability to support clients with diverse needs in achieving their functional and occupational goals
- Active Arizona COTA license
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or special needs is a plus
- CPR certification is preferred
