Drive, Load Box Truck from Emptying Clothing Donation Bins

This is for three - five days a week depending on availability.

The pay is $175-$225 per day. 6 - 8 hours of work per day.

You will be driving a box truck to different donation bin sites.

Once at the donation bin, you will unlock it, separate all of the material into different bags, and then load the bags onto the truck by hand. You will need to put any loose material (sometimes a lot) into plastic bags. This involves picking up used clothes, shoes, and books by hand.

You will be working by yourself with remote supervision.

You must adhere to a timely schedule for completion and have responsive communication.

THIS IS NOT JUST A DRIVING JOB - It is a loading job AND a driving job that would be great for someone with moving experience and that wants to remain active.

You must have experience driving box trucks.

The trucks you will be driving are kept in Monroe, NC.

We are looking for a responsible, long-term, hard worker that can work independently.

Do NOT apply if you are not committed to working hard and getting things done - you will not make it here.

You will be held accountable for driving the truck safely, emptying the donation bin, cleaning up outside and around the donation bin, loading the truck, and unloading the truck by yourself as well as communicating and attempting to fix any problems.

Overview Description:

• Home each night.
• This position has the responsibility of driving 26ft box trucks.
• The driver will service donation bin sites and will be responsible for collecting all bagged and loose clothes, books, and shoes in and around the bins. Loose items will be bagged according to type. The driver will also be responsible for the proper maintenance of the sites which include cleaning and collecting any rubbish disposed in and around the bins.
• This position consists of finishing daily routes around the greater Charlotte area and unloading the truck in Monroe, NC.

Personal Qualifications:

• At least 21 years old
• Physically Fit: This job requires lifting and moving hundreds of bags of clothing, shoes, and books, BY HAND, and walking thousands of steps while doing so. You must be able to properly climb into and out of a truck to load this material. You must be able to work outdoors in the summer heat and winter cold.
• Dependable: We are looking for a dedicated individual that wants to be employed long-term. You must show up to work on time and be ready to work.
• Time Management: You must be able to manage your time and work efficiently
• Communication: You must be responsive to scheduling and route changes and other business-related communication.
• Hard worker: You must be able to work hard independently to meet schedule requirements without constant supervision. You must possess basic problem-solving skills to come up with possible solutions as problems arise.
• Trustworthy: We are a Christian based organization run by prior Private Investigators. We have a high level of previous experience catching people stealing and have a zero-tolerance theft policy. We are all about second chances but if you have recent charges of theft or other felony charges we are not interested in employing you right now.

Professional Qualifications:

• Box Truck Driving Experience: You must be confident and have experience driving a 26' (or similar) box truck in any and all weather conditions. NO CDL is required.
• Driving Experience: You must possess a valid state-issued driver's license with a safe driving record with no major blemishes. You must be able to be insured by our company insurance and pass a pre-employment substance abuse screening and background check.
• Reliable Transportation: You must have reliable transportation to get to and from the truck at the beginning and end of your shift.
• You must have reliable child care if needed.
• Education: High School or equivalent required unless you can demonstrate how your experience makes up for your lack of education.
• Language Skills: You must be able to speak, read, understand, and write basic English. You must complete paperwork accurately and completely and understand the importance of detail. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide for common problem-solving.
• Technology Skills - you must use GPS technology, and be able to send and receive text messages and emails with a quick response time.
