This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is caring, hands-on, and passionate about working with children, especially those interested in growing within behavioral health or education fields. This is a part-time position.
What You’ll Do
🧩 Client Support & Engagement
- Support children with daily living skills such as toileting, dressing, feeding, and hygiene
- Engage in play, relationship-building, and structured activities
- Assist Behavior Technicians and center staff during sessions and transitions
- Help with arrival/dismissal routines and ensure children’s belongings are organized
- Escort clients throughout the building and during outdoor activities
- Prepare snacks/meals and assist with lunch routines
🧼 Center Organization & Cleanliness
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for clients and staff
- Assist with sanitizing, laundry, and upkeep of therapy spaces
- Restock essential supplies (gloves, wipes, clothing, etc.)
- Support daily and weekly cleaning tasks alongside team members
📋 Administrative & Team Support
- Prepare materials for therapy sessions (laminating, copying, cutting, etc.)
- Assist with classroom setup, activities, and basic instruction support
- Help with attendance tracking, phones, and general office tasks
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
🎯 What We’re Looking For
✔️ Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain/maintain required clearances:
- PA Child Abuse
- PA Criminal Background
- FBI Fingerprinting
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Mandated Reporter Certification

- Experience working with children, especially those with special needs

- Active role: standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Engaging directly with children throughout the day (including floor play and outdoor activities)
- Work takes place in classrooms, therapy spaces, and outdoor areas
- Fast-paced, energetic environment with a lot of movement and interaction
