Preschool Director

Our ideal School Director is a dedicated coach for our teachers, someone who believes that a supported and empowered faculty is the key to a thriving school. Pay: From $60,000.00 per year

Responsibilities of our School Director:

• Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of the school to ensure smooth student progress
• Supervise staff from different classrooms and provide constructive feedback
• Provide verbal recognition and acceptance to children while providing clear and consistent expectations for the children's behavior
• Manage relationships and agreements with external partners and vendors
• Evaluate the efficiency of business procedures and apply improvements
• Undertake staffing responsibilities (training, evaluating, scheduling etc.)
• Manage the budget by monitoring revenue and expenses

Requirements for the School Director:

• A bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or related field
• Two years’ work experience in a licensed child care facility, or early childhood program ONLY
• Possesses deep love for children and a strong commitment to building positive relationships with families and the community
• Reliable with strong character and values. Will serve as a role model for others in the school and embody the servant leadership philosophy
• Must meet Texas Child Care Licensing requirements
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
