What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Laborer position at Beyer Landscape Company?
Beyer Landscape Company is looking for Landscape Laborers who will work as a team under the Landscape Supervisor to provide a wide range of landscaping services around the Denver and foothills area.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Using hand and/or power tools to perform a wide range of landscape duties.
· Mowing, trimming, pruning, raking, weeding, planting, digging, watering, fertilizing, mulching, laying sod, etc.
· Clear debris and remove waste from landscaping areas.
· Plant and maintain flowers, trees, shrubs and hedges. Maintain lawn and garden areas.
· Dig, spread, and level soil.
· Install hardscapes such as patios, pathways and steps.
· Build retaining walls, decks, boulder outcrops, water features, fire pits.
· Loads and unloads equipment and tools into work vehicles.
· Operate and maintain irrigation systems.
Requirements and Qualifications
· Previous experience working in landscaping is preferred, but not required.
· Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment, heavy equipment and materials.
· Able to work in various weather conditions.
· Lifts 50 pounds and handles the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, lifting, pulling, and climbing.
· Works well independently and with a team. Follows written and verbal instructions from the crew leader. Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
· Work 8 hours per day w/ applicable breaks. 5 days a week w/ some overtime & weekend work.
· Reliable transportation required.
Benefits
· Pay: $18.00-26.00 per hour depending on experience
