Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff management to ensure seamless daily functioning.
- Lead and motivate team members through effective training, coaching, and development initiatives to maintain high performance standards.
- Manage inventory control processes to minimize waste, optimize stock levels, and ensure the availability of ingredients and supplies.
- Supervise food handling procedures, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and maintaining cleanliness standards across the kitchen and dining areas.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, sales tracking, and reporting.
- Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet customer demand during peak hours while controlling labor costs.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster a positive dining experience that encourages repeat business.
- Conduct staff interviews and participate in hiring decisions to build a skilled and motivated team aligned with the restaurant’s goals.
- Monitor financial performance through budgeting practices and cost control measures to maximize profitability.
- Ensure adherence to health regulations, food safety protocols, and sanitation standards across all operational areas.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or food service management within quick service & fast food or casual dining environments.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management with culinary experience preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise is essential.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with skills in team management, training & development, and staff supervision.
- Knowledge of inventory control practices, food safety standards, and hospitality management principles.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
- Experience in managing shift schedules, budgeting, food production processes, and catering operations is highly desirable.
