What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Technician position at Bexel?
We are seeking a full-time Quality Control (QC) Technician to join our team. As a member of our Engineering department you will help maintain, and support various broadcast equipment for our clients all over the globe. An open mind to continually learn new technology within the broadcast industry will be beneficial in this role. The QC technician is responsible for testing equipment in the NEP Rentals Inventory to ensure it is operating properly. The QC technician will also configure equipment to the client specifications and package equipment for client rental.
This position is on-site at our Van Nuys, CA facility. Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. Wage is $18-$20 per hour. There will be overtime as needed.
Key Duties:
QC broadcast equipment
Build /assemble racked systems, packages
Configuration of equipment and/or systems
Assist clients with tech support in person or over the phone when required
Requirements:
General networking knowledge preferred
Ability to solve unusual or unexpected problems
Effective communication skills
High school diploma or equivalent required
Able to deliver excellent customer service, externally and internally
Knowledge of broadcast equipment
Understanding of video/audio standards
Trouble shooting techniques/skills
