We are seeking a talented and professional Independent Piercing Artist to join our vibrant studio. Responsibilities
- Perform body piercings with precision, adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Maintain a sterile environment by following strict sanitation protocols
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and provide professional guidance on piercing options
- Educate clients on aftercare procedures to ensure proper healing and satisfaction
- Manage appointments efficiently, ensuring timely service delivery
- Promote a welcoming atmosphere that encourages customer loyalty and positive reviews
- Stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and safety standards through ongoing education
- Work Tuesday-Saturday evenings 5pm-10pm currently, subject to change however.
- This is a % based pay, artist is responsible to pay all taxes on income paid from shop as a 1099 contracted laborer.
Experience
- Proven experience in body piercing with a strong portfolio of work
- Knowledge of store management practices is a plus
- Familiarity with sanitation standards specific to body modification studios
- Excellent communication skills for client consultations and education
- First aid certification is preferred to handle any unforeseen situations professionally
- Strong customer service skills to create a positive client experience and foster repeat business
- Sales skills are beneficial for upselling aftercare products or jewelry options
- Must have AR license
