Bevis Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our team in Tallahassee, FL.
Position Summary: The Veterinary Technician is responsible for assisting the Veterinarian and other staff with patient care, surgical procedures, and other tasks related to the care of animals.
Requirements:
Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
- Must be comfortable working with animals.
- Must be comfortable using a computer.
- Must be comfortable with technology in general.
- Must be comfortable with noise and heat
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Must be able to perform general duties of the facility including but not limited to: cleaning, sterilization, grooming, handling of animals, sterilization of animal equipment, cleaning cages, sanitizing surfaces, and assisting the Veterinarian as needed.
- Must have strong communication skills and demonstrate a professional demeanor in all interactions interactions with patients, clients, visitors, co-workers, management, and residents.
- Must have strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Must maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
