This is a hybrid Wound Care Specialist role based in the Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson, South Carolina Area, allowing a combination of in-person and remote work. The Wound Care Specialist will provide expert care, evaluate and treat patients with complex wounds, collaborate with healthcare teams to implement care plans, and offer education to patients and caregivers. The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to clinical best practices to ensure high-quality care and positive outcomes.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service skills to build positive relationships with patients and care teams
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, for patient education and collaboration with healthcare professionals
- Proficiency in Critical Care Medicine and a strong foundation in general Medicine principles
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Relevant certifications in wound care (e.g., WOCN, WCC) are highly preferred
- Valid state licensure as a registered nurse, physician assistant, or another relevant medical professional
