We're looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to play a critical role in the design, integration, and validation of our connected beverage systems, while also serving as a leader within our Systems Integration and Test team. This role blends hands-on systems engineering with people leadership. You'll ensure Bevi's products are designed for reliability, safety, regulatory compliance, and an outstanding customer experience.
Your Day to Day
Systems Engineering & Technical Leadership
- Own end-to-end hardware system architecture, requirements definition, and integration for both new product development and sustaining programs
- Translate high-level product requirements into detailed system specifications, interface definitions, and validation plans
- Collaborate across electrical, software, firmware, and mechanical teams to align designs and ensure program success
- Drive risk analysis (DFMEA) and recommend design mitigations
- Lead system-level development, issue identification, and resolution throughout the product lifecycle
- Provide guidance, coaching, and career development to members of the hardware team, through both direct management and peer mentorship
- Set priorities, allocate resources, and balance workload across multiple initiatives
- Establish and sustain best practices for testing, compliance verification, and system validation
- Foster a collaborative, growth-oriented culture within the systems and test teams
- Partner with compliance engineering to define certification roadmaps and manage external test labs
- Champion continuous improvement in product verification and validation processes
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 8 years of experience in product development, with a proven track record in systems engineering
- Prior management or technical leadership experience, ideally with small teams
- Expertise in system requirements definition, risk management, and integration of electro-mechanical systems
- Experience with compliance standards (UL, FCC, CE) and product certification processes
- Strong background in hardware validation and test methods
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Passion for sustainability and building products that make a positive impact
