Bus Monitors - $18.20/ hour
Provide a secure, safe and disciplined environment and communication level to all students, parents and guardians accessing Beverly Public School Buses. Paid Time Off, Benefits!!, AM/PM shifts available, Flexible Shift Available
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
? High school diploma or equivalent required.
? Submit to a criminal background check.
? Must ensure the safety of the children, providing assistance with seat belts, car seats, wheel chairs
? Communicate safety and boarding/disembarking procedures to passengers. Assist, teachers, personal care providers, parents and guardians with loading and unloading students before and after transportation begins.
? Maintain and update student rosters, no calls and no shows. Complete discipline forms as necessary. Complete other necessary forms and log book as required.
? Know the route and assist substitute drivers with navigation
? Check mailbox twice daily; before AM and before PM runs.
? Secure the bus at the end of the day ensuring there are no sleeping children or lost items.
? Participate in the cleanliness of the bus; removing trash, closing windows and general cleaning.
? Report any problems or disputes to the Director of Transportation / Assistant Director of Transportation
BUS MONITOR
? Working knowledge of Beverly and North Shore Areas
? CPR, First Aid and First Response training required within the first year.
? Subject to random drug testing and yearly physical exams.

Work is performed in a Public School Bus. Majority of the work is performed in a moderately noisy environment with frequent interruptions.
File discipline reports when necessary.
Check seats for sleeping children or any lost items.
Help to secure bus at the end of the day.
Record no calls and no shows.
Keep log books updated daily with: no call no shows, any discipline issues, bad hygiene, etc..Log books are to be kept in your mailbox at the end of your run.
Salary : $18
