MACHINE OPERATOR (College Point, Queens 11356)
Starting Pay: $22.22–$23.63/hr.
JOB DUTIES:
• Operate and monitor production line equipment and processes.
• Monitor the flow of incoming materials and outgoing finished products.
• Remove, move, or reposition materials and finished goods as needed.
• Identify and resolve interruptions in production flow.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff to address equipment repairs and minimize downtime.
• Communicate with laboratory and supervisory staff regarding product changes and production adjustments.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Production operator experience, or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of common production and manufacturing practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Related training or certification preferred.
• Ability to operate basic production tools and equipment.
• Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor temperatures.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the workday.
