Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Lawn Care Crew Member to join our landscaping team. This role involves performing various outdoor maintenance tasks to ensure the health and aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial landscapes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, possess mechanical knowledge, and enjoy working with landscaping equipment and tools. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in landscape maintenance
Duties
- Mow lawns using power mowers and hand tools to maintain a neat appearance
- Perform landscape maintenance including edging, trimming, and pruning trees and shrubs
- Operate equipment landscaping machinery
- Assist with planting, gardening, and soil preparation tasks
- Maintain hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls
- Use hand tools and power tools safely for various landscaping projects
- Support tree care activities including trimming, removal, and planting
- Assist with irrigation system installation and repairs
- Perform general maintenance tasks to keep work areas clean and organized
Requirements
- Prior experience or knowledge in lawn care, landscape maintenance is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and power tools is advantageous
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other landscaping machinery safely
- Experience with tree care, gardening, or hardscape installation is a plus
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license preferred for operating equipment or transporting crew members
- Willingness to learn new skills related to landscape construction and maintenance
