Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor
Location: Midland, TX
Amount of Travel Required: Less than 5%
Work Schedule:
- Rotational: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
- Thursday-Wednesday shift (additional travel before and after)

POSITION SUMMARY: The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping. This role ensures accurate inventory control, maintains a safe and organized warehouse environment, and supports efficient distribution of materials and products.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may.")
Inventory & Material Handling
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage materials and products for outgoing shipments.
- Perform routine cycle counts and assist with full physical inventory processes.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within warehouse management systems (WMS).
Warehouse Operations
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material‑handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Organize and maintain warehouse layout for optimal workflow and storage utilization.
- Ensure proper labeling and storage of materials according to safety and company guidelines.
- Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate pickup with carriers as needed.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Conduct equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with procurement, production, logistics, and customer service teams.
- Communicate inventory discrepancies or delays promptly.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.
Qualifications:
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Successfully passes all applicable general pre-employment testing including but not limited to: background check, pre-employment drug screening, pre-employment fit tests, pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).
- Proficiency in spoken English language* (see below asterisk)
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License required. Most employment is contingent upon meeting company driving standards, including 3 year U.S. driving history and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Company policy.
- Daily overtime required and in person, predictable attendance in Midland, TX.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1–3 years of warehouse, logistics, or supply chain experience.
- Experience using warehouse management or ERP systems.
- Experience operating forklifts or willingness to obtain certification.
- Forklift certification (stand-up, sit-down, or reach truck) preferred.
- Experience in fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environments.
- Knowledge of shipping platforms (UPS, FedEx, LTL systems) preferred.

The Warehouse Specialist may work in a warehouse/shop environment that makes them susceptible to common hazards such as physical strain, moving machinery, loading, unloading, falling objects, slips, trips, and falls. required to walk, sit, climb, bend, reach and squat/kneel. They will also need to speak clearly and audibly, as well as have the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and /or other sounds (e.g., building alarms) deriving from in person speech, telephone, or other remote speech.
Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk, stoop, kneel, sit, climb, crouch and/or crawl.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds with a team lift. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work hours may include or includes early morning, late evenings, and weekends, depending on business necessity.
