Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning & Sanitation: Scrape, rinse, and wash dishes, glassware, flatware, and pots using an industrial dishwasher (by hand when needed).
- Station Maintenance: Ensure the dish pit is organized, clean, and free of clutter.
- Waste Management: Empty, clean, and reline kitchen trash receptacles. Break down boxes and remove debris.
- Kitchen Assistance: Assist cooks with basic stocking needs during busy periods. Keep them stocked with clean dishes.
- Stocking & Storing: Properly store clean dishware and restock serving stations, cupboards, kitchen area.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety codes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours, and lift/carry items weighing up to \(50\) lbs.
- Time Management: The ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced and noisy environment.
- Teamwork: Willingness to assist kitchen staff and respond to manager requests.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring dishes are thoroughly sanitized and inspecting for leftover debris
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
