Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hard working individual to join our team at historic Betty Jane Candies to work directly under our lead candy maker.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and mix ingredients according to established recipes and formulations.
- Operate and maintain candy-making equipment, ensuring compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Monitor cooking processes to ensure products are cooked to the correct temperature and consistency.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and quality control.
Experience
- Previous experience in food production or manufacturing is a plus but not a requirement.
- Must be dependable, the production team works as a unit, tardiness or excessive call offs unacceptable.
Schedule: 4 day work week! Monday-Thursday 10 hr shifts, off work by 4pm at the latest and constant 3 day weekends!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
