Responsibilities

• Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and personal vehicles, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
• Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary.
• Plan and follow optimized delivery routes using mobile devices to ensure timely deliveries across assigned areas.
• Deliver packages directly to customers’ homes or businesses with professionalism and a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Handle heavy lifting safely, employing proper manual handling practices to prevent injury during loading, unloading, and delivery processes.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery and route documentation, utilizing mobile technology.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members to report issues or delays promptly.

Requirements

• Prior experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, or courier services is highly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving or box trucks is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission vehicles and material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Knowledge of safe lifting practices, heavy lifting techniques, and adherence to DOT regulations for weight handling in the workplace.
• Experience with route driving, customer service skills, and familiarity with mobile devices for navigation and communication.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including moving boxes, manual handling of packages, and sustained manual labor during shifts.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols including adherence to traffic laws and workplace safety standards.

Pay: Up to $290.00 per week
