We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on Voice & Data Technician to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and working in different environments.
What You’ll Do
- Install and terminate voice, data, and low-voltage cabling cat3, cat5, cat6
- Install and maintain basic telephone systems
- Pull, route, label, and organize cable
- Install jacks, patch panels, and related equipment
- Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of cable and telephone systems
- Read basic drawings, plans, and cable layouts
- Work safely and maintain a clean, professional job site
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience with voice/data cabling, telecommunications, or low-voltage installation is preferred
- Basic understanding of telephone and network cabling
- Comfortable using hand tools and test equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and learn new systems
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel to job sites as needed
