Painter

Position Overview:
Better View Painting LLC is seeking a part-time Painter with the potential to transition into full-time hours based on performance and business needs. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of painting experience or demonstrate the ability to quickly acquire new skills and master techniques with precision. Strong attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and a high level of self-motivation are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare interior and exterior surfaces for painting: cleaning, sanding, taping, patching, and priming
• Apply paint, stain, and other coatings with accuracy and professional craftsmanship
• Protect furniture, flooring, and surrounding areas as needed
• Maintain an organized and safe job site
• Follow project instructions and meet timelines
• Assist with setup and cleanup for residential and commercial projects
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of painting experience OR demonstrated ability to learn new techniques efficiently and effectively
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to follow direction and accept feedback
• High level of self-motivation and strong work ethic
• Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team
• Reliable transportation to job sites in Polk and Burnett County
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders or elevated surfaces as needed

Schedule:

• Part-time to start
• Opportunity for increased hours or full-time work based on performance
