Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Loan Officer with day-to-day operations and client communication
- Collect, review, and organize borrower documentation (income, assets, credit, etc.)
- Manage loan files from application to closing
- Follow up with clients, real estate agents, and third parties to ensure smooth transactions
- Prepare and submit loan files to processing and underwriting
- Track loan progress and meet important deadlines
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan process
Qualifications:
- Previous mortgage or real estate experience preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication (verbal & written)
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency with loan software and Microsoft Office (Encompass is a plus)
