Responsibilities:
Better Health Home Care Services Inc. is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or PCA to join our growing team in Riverdale, GA. Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, health changes, and progress and report to supervising nursing staff
- Provide mobility assistance, including transferring and positioning patients safely
- Support patients with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional needs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients in their homes
- Offer companionship and emotional support to patients and their families
- Follow individualized care plans and adhere to all home care protocols and procedures
Requirements:
- Active and valid CNA or PCA certification in the state of Georgia
- Prior experience in home care, long-term care, or a clinical setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of patient care techniques and safety procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to patient homes in the Riverdale, GA area
- Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
