The Accounting Manager plays a key role in supporting the Senior Accounting Manager by overseeing daily accounting operations, guiding a high-performing team, and ensuring financial accuracy and compliance. What You’ll Do
- Support management of the accounting team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth
- Oversee and review monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes
- Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions in accordance with GAAP standards
- Analyze financial statements and identify trends, variances, and opportunities
- Lead account reconciliations for balance sheet and financial reporting
- Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality
- Develop and monitor key performance and quality metrics
- Partner with internal stakeholders and analytics teams to optimize reporting and processes
- Contribute to team development through coaching, training, and engagement initiatives
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience with strong analytical responsibilities
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing or mentoring team members
- Deep understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and forecasting
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with data analysis tools, spreadsheets, and financial systems
- 5–7 years of experience in healthcare or corporate accounting
- CPA or MBA
- Experience with process improvement methodologies
