Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Charlotte, NC. The LCSW will provide comprehensive support to clients by offering counseling, performing assessments, developing personalized care plans, and facilitating access to necessary resources. The professional will work collaboratively with healthcare providers and multidisciplinary teams to address mental and behavioral health needs, ensuring holistic care for clients. The role also involves maintaining accurate records and compliance with legal and ethical standards within social work practices.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Social Work and Medical Social Work to address client needs in both clinical and healthcare settings
- Experience in Case Management, including assessment, care planning, and coordinating resources
- Strong knowledge of Mental Health and Behavioral Health principles to support clients coping with various mental health challenges
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and therapeutic skills to establish trust and rapport with clients
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification required
- Master’s degree in Social Work or related field
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Familiarity with documentation, including maintaining confidential client records
- Previous experience in a healthcare or community-based setting is a plus
