Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Daytime Office Cleaner to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for a US government office off of 52 and I-25. This part-time (6 hours per week) position is ideal for individuals with experience in janitorial and custodial services, who take pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks during daytime hours to ensure the office remains tidy, sanitized, and professional at all times.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and trash removal throughout the office space
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established standards
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other necessary items in restrooms and break areas
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all staff
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleaning tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning, custodial work, or related facilities maintenance roles
- Familiarity with janitorial supplies and cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties which may include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Prior experience with industrial or residential painting, porter work, or facilities maintenance is a plus but not required
- Reliable transportation to arrive on time for scheduled shifts during daytime hours
